While many people dispute that love at first sight is no longer the norm, there are still others who believe this adage. This is what happened to these two pit bulls named Agatha and Jukebox, who met under less than ideal environments but were able to form a strong relationship.
The two dogs are long-time residents of the Pima Animal Care Center in Tucson, Arizona. Although they arrived at the center on different days, this did not affect the relationship they were about to build. According to Kristen Hassen-Auerbach, the director of the animal shelter, the two dogs first met during a playgroup session.
After the playgroup session, Agatha and Jukebox became inseparable, Kristen added. Kristen said that this is normal between two dogs who have been friends before coming two the shelter. But when Agatha and Jukebox met, they proved that even two different dogs can still build a good relationship with each other.
For Kristen, it was an infatuation right away between Agatha and Jukebox. It was Jukebox who made the first move and was welcomed by Agatha. Since then, the two dogs would often be seen together. Later on, the two pit bulls would sleep together as well as do several things together.
The relationship between Agatha and Jukebox warmed the hearts of the volunteers. This is why the volunteers worked hard to look for a potential adopter for the two dogs. Even though they had doubts that Agatha and Jukebox will be adopted together, the volunteers still tried.
A family who often visits the animal shelter learned about the dogs’ relationship. Since the family got touched by the fantastic bond Agatha and Jukebox formed, they decided to adopt the two dogs. This did gladden not only the volunteers but also the two dogs. It is indeed true that love will find its way in seemingly hopeless circumstances.
