Summer months can be a little too hot for some people, but humans are not the only ones who feel the heat. Darcy, a big Newfoundland, is an adorable dog who loves to simmer down from the heat by plunging in a pond. Like most people, Darcy knows that going out for a swim is one of the best ways to deal with the heat.
But going out to the pond is not always an option for this big dog, there are times when Darcy can’t go out. During those days, Chelsea, Darcy’s mom, still wants her pup to enjoy the summer, so she came up with an idea. She thought that if Darcy can’t go to the pond, then she’ll have the pond brought to Darcy.
Chelsea said that Darcy loves sleeping outdoors and chilling in the water, so she decided to buy a dog pool for Darcy and place it in their backyard. It was a brilliant idea that was soon going to be a reality as Chelsea ordered the pool and waited for its arrival. Unfortunately, things did not go the way she had planned.
On the day the dog pool arrived, Chelsea felt a variety of emotions. When the postman arrived at their home, she felt confused because the package was so small, but when she opened it, her confusion turned into laughter. The package was indeed the dog pool, but it was tiny.
Chelsea was surprised at how small the pool was; it could barely fit Darcy’s paw! As for Darcy, he didn’t find the pool amusing. From her face, it clearly shows that she was very disappointed.
On her post on Facebook, Chelsea said that for weeks she waited for the pool to be delivered to them, so she was disappointed in herself for not double-checking the size of the pool before ordering it. However, on the bright side, Darcy has a brand new water bowl. But Chelsea was still going to make Darcy’s dog pool dream come true.
Once she realized the mistake, she ordered another dog pool. This time she made sure to order the right size for her sweet Darcy. Darcy didn’t harbor any grudges against her mom and quickly forgave her. For now, Darcy looks for other ways to beat the summer’s heat as she waits for her bigger sized dog pool to arrive.
